Join us for the opening screening of our three-film series celebrating the 25th anniversary of the award-winning documentary In the Light of Reverence. This special event takes place on Friday, August 14, 2026, and includes a Q&A with Director Toby McLeod and special guest Corrina Gould (Ohlone), tribal spokesperson for the Confederated Villages of Lisjan.In the Light of Reverence is a groundbreaking documentary exploring the conflicts surrounding three sacred places: Devils Tower, the Colorado Plateau, and Mount Shasta. These locations are where Indigenous spiritual traditions collide with mining, recreation, and development. This powerful film documents the efforts of the Lakota, Hopi, and Winnemem Wintu to protect their most sacred sites. Their battles tell the story of culture clashes in an ancient landscape.
