We will have a tribute table in honor of our Festival’s co-founder, Malcolm Margolin (1940–2025) whose loss to us last month we are deeply grieving. We will offer paper, pens and colored markers for you to write a note, draw a picture, or share a memory and/or appreciation of Malcolm. All tributes will be compiled into a memory book and given to Malcolm’s family.
We are very happy to announce that Heyday Books, also founded by Malcolm Margolin,
will be offering books for sale at the festival.
_______________
Curated, as always, by one of California I CAN’s resident cultural advisors, Northern Sierra Mewuk basketweaver Jennifer Bates, this year’s festival will feature 10 California Indian culture bearers demonstrating traditional arts and crafts and another 10 artisan-vendors offering their unique and beautiful one-of-a-kind creations.
We hope to see you there!
with love and appreciation from everyone at California I CAN.
Please donate here to support this year’s festival!
